HAYÉ
HAYÉ (born Prince Kofi Tetteh) is a Ghanaian performing artist and applied theatre practitioner working at the intersection of music, storytelling, and community-based healing.. He leads HAE (Heritage, Arts, Expressions), a creative platform dedicated to using artistic practice as a tool for social transformation, particularly among young people navigating identity, emotional distress, and cultural disconnection.
Over the past few years, his work has evolved into a form of ritual-based performance and facilitation—drawing from African storytelling traditions and aligning closely with principles found in Theatre of the Oppressed and other applied theatre methodologies. Through projects such as CETOD (Creative Expression to Overcome Distress), he has facilitated intimate, community-centered experiences that create space for reflection, expression, and collective healing.
In addition to his independent work, HAYE is a member of BHP Creatives, the core artistic collective of Mansa World. With the collective, he has performed on major international platforms, including the launch of Mansa World at UNESCO Headquarters in Paris (2023) in partnership with UNESCO, Canex Weekend in Algiers (2024), IATF 2025, the Afrexim Annual Meeting in Abuja (2025)—the latter two by invitation of Afrexim Bank, Carifesta 2025 and UK Bradford UK City of Festivals 2025. These performances position him within a growing network of African creatives shaping global cultural discourse.
