HAYÉ (born Prince Kofi Tetteh) is a Ghanaian performing artist whose music lives at the intersection of tradition and experimentation. He draws inspiration from Hakpanya- An ancient Anlo-Ewe poetic art form which translates mean “song- carving-word.” His motivation for sonic exploration is about reinvention and fusion of art forms and rhythms, ancient and/or contemporary. It is about creating a percussive and lyrical energy that evokes memory, and presence. Every song invites Listeners on an emotional and honest journey to share a space of reflection, healing, and cultural pride. He calls his sound NEO- HAKPANYA.

His performances are immersive and participatory, exploring identity, reclamation, and confronting social issues. For HAYE, art is not simply entertainment, but a vessel for truth, remembrance, and transformation.
